Our Approach

Blueprint Biosecurity translates technical research into policy-relevant analysis to inform preparedness and response efforts against biological threats. The organization provides nonpartisan, evidence-based recommendations to policymakers, agencies, and standards bodies.

Focus Areas

Our policy work centers on respiratory protection readiness, built environment mitigation strategies, and the translation of research into implementation pathways. We develop practical policy recommendations, partnerships, and communications to inform decision-making at the federal and state levels.

Respiratory Protection

Developing policy-relevant analysis and recommendations on respirator stockpiling, procurement and manufacturing strategies, and interagency coordination to strengthen protection for critical workers during major outbreaks.

Built Environment

Identifying key research and policy gaps across indoor pathogen mitigation technologies, including far-UVC and glycol vapors, and working with stakeholders to support continued evaluation, standards development, and responsible advancement.
