Call for Information: Evaluation of Far-UVC Ocular Dosimetry
Overview
Blueprint Biosecurity seeks to understand recent insights and advances pertaining to the ocular dosimetry of far-UVC. These insights aim to inform safety guidelines, technological innovation, and adoption strategies. Specific areas of interest include:
- Quantifying far-UVC dosimetry for human eyes:
- Utilize modeling approaches
- Employ contact lens dosimetry techniques
- Leverage mannequins or comparable methodologies
- Highlighting recent advancements in experimental setups, measurement techniques, and data collection frameworks
- Developing technologies to accurately measure eye exposure to far-UVC doses in occupied zones, particularly in shared or high-traffic spaces
We encourage researchers and collaborators to share innovative methods and evidence-based results to drive forward the development of safe, effective far-UVC applications, primarily in the occupied zones of congregate spaces.
